ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Truth Barista is a 28:30 weekly program featuring Dr. Jay Christianson, host of the Truth
Barista program and President of High Beam Ministry in Naples, FL.
High Beam Ministry was formed to "Shine the Light of God's Truth on the Road Ahead" per Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path." Dr. Jay aims to help everyone understand the Bible, find a relationship with the Lord, and live increasingly pleasing lives for Him.
Dr. Jay Christianson and Amazing Larry Kutzler brew up highly caffeinated conversations for our day. The Truth Barista program uses the imaginary Ersatz Coffee Shop as its platform to bring you a conversation about a plethora of scintillating topics and line-by-line Bible studies. We don't shy away from any issue that is plaguing our culture or church today. Whether it's current cultural issues, questions about Bible verses, or even just some banter to encourage you.
Dr. Jay's perspective on the Bible's Hebraic and 1st c. Jewish foundations makes the Truth Barista radio program unique. Hard-to-understand verses come alive when viewed through the writers' original cultural lens.

ABOUT DR. JAY CHRISTIANSON
Dr. Jay Christianson has served in pastoral and teaching ministry for the last 30 years. He holds B.A. degrees from North Central University and the University of Minnesota, and Masters and Doctorate degrees from the Master's International University of Divinity. He serves as the president of High Beam Ministry, host the Truth Barista program and podcast, authors the Frothy Thoughts blog, wrote the Cruisin' Through the Bible one-year Bible reading schedule and commentary, and teaches weekly online Bible classes.
Dr. Jay is a life-long student of God's Word. He is an enthusiastic teacher who addresses topics that focus on understanding the Bible from its original Hebraic and Jewish context and how they help God's Word come alive today.
He resides in Naples, Florida with his wife, Jeanne. |
